Dr. Rachael Cook
Dr. Rachael Cook is the Lead Audiologist at Modern Tinnitus in Scottsdale, bringing her expertise in tinnitus management and hearing healthcare to our patients. She obtained her doctoral degree in Audiology from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
As someone with tinnitus herself, Dr. Cook's experience with tinnitus and hearing disorders is extensive. She completed her externship year at the Austin VA Outpatient Clinic, where she provided specialized care for veterans experiencing noise-induced hearing loss, tinnitus, and other sound sensitivity disorders. This experience gave her valuable insights into the unique challenges faced by individuals with tinnitus.
Prior to joining Modern Tinnitus, Dr. Cook worked in an Otolaryngology (ENT) practice, treating a wide variety of medically complex patients. This background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the intricate relationships between ear health, hearing loss, and tinnitus.
At Modern Tinnitus, Dr. Cook is dedicated to implementing best practice protocols in tinnitus management. She is passionate about our multifaceted approach, which combines advanced audiological care with complementary therapies to provide comprehensive tinnitus relief. Dr. Cook's expertise in utilizing cutting-edge tinnitus technologies, including the Lenire device and other therapy options, is integral to our personalized treatment plans.

Ashley Olson
Ashley Olson brings a wealth of diverse experience to her role as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Modern Tinnitus. With a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Kansas State University, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Pittsburg State University, Ashley laid the foundation for a career dedicated to healthcare.
Her professional journey includes a distinguished twelve-year nursing career specializing in emergency medicine and radiology, which includes 5 years as a Team Lead at Mayo Clinic This extensive clinical background has given Ashley a deep understanding of patient needs and the importance of innovative healthcare solutions.
Prior to founding Modern Tinnitus, Ashley co-founded and served as the Clinic Director of Applied Hearing Solutions, further honing her expertise in auditory health and management. This experience was instrumental in shaping her vision for Modern Tinnitus, where she combines her clinical knowledge with operational acumen.
At Modern Tinnitus, Ashley leads operations with a patient-centered approach, leveraging her unique blend of medical expertise and business leadership. Her vision drives the clinic's commitment to providing cutting-edge tinnitus treatments and personalized care.

Dr. Craig Kasper
Dr. Craig Kasper brings to Modern Tinnitus over 25 years of expertise in the world of hearing and tinnitus healthcare. He earned his Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida and holds a master’s degree with clinical honors from the State University of New York at Buffalo. In addition to his role with Modern Tinnitus, he is the Founder & Managing Director of NYHD | Institute For Hearing & Balance and NYHD | TinnitusCare, based in New York.
Dr. Kasper's extensive experience includes a Clinical Fellowship and clinical practice in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Medical Center. A Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice, he is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA).
Dr. Kasper's contributions extend beyond clinical practice; he has authored scholarly articles published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals such as Hearing Research and Laryngoscope, and has been an invited presenter for professional conferences since the start of his career. Committed to public health education, he has also frequently served as a resource for the popular media on topics related to hearing health and wellness.
Dr. Cliff Olson
Dr. Cliff Olson is an Audiologist with a doctoral degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Olson founded Applied Hearing Solutions in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2017 and serves as an adjunct lecturer at his alma mater. He is regarded as the most recognized audiologist in the world thanks to the Doctor Cliff AuD YouTube channel.
Dr. Olson was diagnosed with hearing loss and tinnitus during his time serving in the United States military as a Marine Corps Scout Sniper. After leaving active duty in 2006, he pursued a career in audiology, inspired by his personal experience with hearing loss & tinnitus.
Dr. Olson completed his externship at a Neurotology clinic in Phoenix, gaining experience with complex hearing loss cases. He is internationally known for his advocacy efforts & promotion of Best Practice Audiologic Care.
